Former President John Dramani Mahama has encouraged Ghanaians to vote out the New Patriotic Party administration in 2024 so that a new government can hold them accountable for their management.
The intention of the NPPs government of tackling corruption is quite funny, one of the best way they can be held responsible to Ghanaians is for them to leave office Ghana government
Furthermore, allowing the incoming administration to audit them and explain where they went wrong John added, Otherwise, they will just walk away free with all of the money they have stolen.
“First and foremost, whether you participate in politics or public service, you must be willing to be answerable to the people.” Only by voting them out of office in the upcoming election will we be able to hold them accountable.
Also, that the people of Ghana may interrogate them and audit them to ensure that they account for the time they were in office,” Mr. Dramani Mahama said in Upper East Region, Wa, where he is on his “Thank you tour.”
The remark follows an essay in which a senior member of the NPP, Gabby Otchere Darko, called Mr Mahama a catastrophe.
“I heard on John Mahama’s delayed “thank you trip” that the NPP intends to split the eight to shield itself from corruption.
He added that NPP government wants to break the eight in order to safeguard Ghana and the achievements of Ghanaians have earned from people
“The proof that John Mahama was a catastrophe is still fresh in our minds, and I hate to imagine how he would have managed the COVID-19 problem and its serious economic effects today.
Of course, we have a wide range of issues. Ours is a historic, profound, genuine, and honest fight. So an acidic and sweet tongue that can hit hard and promise heaven is simple to persuade.
But, when given the chance, we must be directed by what such a language accomplishes with its head, heart, and hands.”
