AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited, Obuasi Gold Mine is currently near completion of the redevelopment phase to become a modern, efficient and long-term profitable operation. The underground mining operation has been fully mechanized and designed to produce up to an average maximum of 5,000 t/day of ore mined.

1.  Contracts Officer
Qualification
- Minimum of HND /Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement & Supply, Economics, Commerce or Supply Chain management will be an advantage.
Experience
- At least Three (3) years’ experience working in a supply chain environment.
2.  Expediting Officer
Qualification
- Minimum of HND /Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement & Supply, Economics, Commerce or Supply Chain management will be an advantage.
Experience
- At least Three (3) years’ experience working in a supply chain environment.
3.  Maintenance Planner-Process Plant
Qualification
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant (mechanical or electrical) engineering discipline.
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as maintenance planner or assistant maintenance planner in mining operations.
4.  Backfill Engineer
Qualification
- Mining / Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent
- Three (3) years’ operational experience within an underground mining environment of which at least two (2) years is backfill systems based;
- Demonstrated experience with knowledge of fundamental underground backfill mechanics;
- Proficient in the use of Mining Software;
- Proficient in the management and control of underground backfill operations across a range of fill types;
- Excellent Communication Skills
